3.The Platform for Monitoring and Analyzing  Multi-lingual Texts in Global Media, approved by Shanghai Plan and Reform  Commission 2014, with a funding up to 9.45 million yuan.

4.Big Data and Analytical Technology Cooperative  Program, with IBM under the Ministry of Education in 2014, with a donation of  one million worth of software, for developing a global public opinion  certificate program.

Honors & Awards

1.In 2012 he taught a course of Introduction to Global Communication  and won the Shanghai Model English Course.

2.In 2012, he won the Teacher’s Prize, SISU.

3.In 2011, he authored a textbook on Global Communication, listed into  the Textbook Series of the Ministry of Education in the 11th  Five-Year Plan.

4.In 2011, he supervised a Ph.D. dissertation on the Mechanism of China’s  Global Discourse Formation, which was accredited as the Shanghai Excellent  Ph.D. Dissertation.

5.In 2008, his report on global media’s attitudes on Beijing Olympic  Games appraised by the State Information Office.

6.In 2004, his book on International Communication in China won a  second prize of Academic Research at SISU.

7.In 1998, his project on journalistic internship won a third prize of  Teaching inShanghai.

8.In 1994, he was accredited as the Excellent Young Teacher in  Shanghai.
